GPS is a private practice with a single location on the 5th floor of the Sellwood Bldg. in downtown Duluth. GPS is located within 2 blocks of four public parking ramps. The building is accessible in accordance with the Americans With Disabilities Act and offers elevator service to all floors. There are two street level entrances, and one conveniently located on the skywalk.
GPS strives to provide a welcoming and private environment. It is a private office which schedules appointments to ensure no overlapping contact between the clients leaving and those arriving. This approach allows for increased confidentiality and privacy, and eliminates the "waiting room" experience. For your convenience, we do have a waiting area if you want someone to accompany you.
GPS accepts clients who chose to use private pay/cash, as well as clients who utilize their insurance. If you plan on using insurance, please contact GPS ahead of time with your insurance information to ensure the appropriate insurance authorization needs are met prior to scheduling an appointment. Private pay and insurance copay is due prior to your scheduled therapy session.
GPS offers additional service options which are available upon request and decided on a case-by-case basis. These services include off-duty hours, therapy and assessment services provided outside of the office, in-home behavior interventions, traveling therapy services, and group home staff training and/or consultation. These services require prior approval and additional financial arrangements may be necessary. For additional information, please contact GPS at your earliest convenience.
If you need a therapist, clinical psychologist, or a "psychologist near me," please contact us to determine scheduling options. If you try to visit during normal business hours and the door is locked, we are in session with someone else and apologize for any inconvenience. Please leave an email or voicemail and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We look forward to meeting with you.
